Preferred qualifications :

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
• Experience with Google infrastructure including Flume, Spanner, BigQuery, Dremel, TensorFlow, TFX.
• Experience in technical design and code contributions.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate team priorities aligned with organizational goals. Coordinate strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
• Set clear expectations with team members based on their roles and levels. Regularly discuss performance, development, and provide feedback and coaching.
• Develop the mid-term technical direction and roadmap for your teams, evolving it to meet future requirements and infrastructure needs.
• Design, guide, review, and vet system designs within your scope, and write code to solve problems.
• Review code developed by engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices such as style guidelines, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
