Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, and maintain solutions on the Workday platform.
- Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing Workday applications.
- Analyze performance and troubleshoot technical issues related to Workday applications.
- Follow Workday configuration best practices.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Write, maintain and execute test scenarios for the purpose of testing Workday new Releases
- (For Integration Engineer only) Integrate Workday with other internal systems (APIs, databases, etc.).
Required Skills and Experience
- Technical Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in maintaining / implementing solutions on Workday HCM.
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture and its ecosystem (HCM, Payroll, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting for end users (standard & advanced Report / Calculated Fields etc.).
- Knowledge of EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Knowledge of Workday Security
- Familiar with Workday Object Transporter
- Specificities for Software engineer Extend and Integration Engineer
- Experience with Workday Studio / Workday Integration / Workday Extend
- Experience with data migration, integration development, report building, or software development
- Extensive knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and authentication and authorization methods (OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML, X.509, etc.)
- Working knowledge of scripting skills (Python / REACT / JavaScipt / Java)
- Proficiency in programming languages: XSLT, Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Web Services (WWS).
- Familiarity with integration systems and APIs.
- Knowledge of Workday Connector
- Familiar with Workday Orchestration
- Functional Skills:
- Understanding of Workday business processes (Core HR / Core Comp / Advanced Comp / Benefits / Recruiting / Talent & Performance / Talent optimization / Absence / Time Tracking).
- Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience with integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while being proactive in suggesting improvements within the team.
- Ability to work in an agile (scrum) environment
- Qualifications and Education:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Related Workday certifications or training (if available) would be a plus.
