Job Description

As part of its growing activities, Dailymotion is looking to reinforce its User Solutions Team. You will play a key role in shaping the core foundations of our product and building innovative features in close cooperation with Frontend Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and Scrum Masters.

• Design and build geo-distributed Backend systems using microservices
• Design and build API-centric systems using GraphQL and REST
• Design and build Queueing Systems
• Proactively contribute to system evolutions and improvements
• Work with technologies like Python, PHP, Elasticsearch, MySQL, MongoDB, OpenAPI, FastAPI

Qualifications

Required

• Programming skills in Python
• Experience building APIs with hexagonal architecture
• Experience with SQL databases like MySQL
• Familiarity with revision control systems such as Git
• Ability to learn and improve technical skills continuously
• Commitment to writing high-quality code, including unit and functional testing, with knowledge of TDD
• Experience in code reviewing and providing constructive feedback
• Strong problem-solving and technical innovation interest
• Effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical team members
• Proficiency in written and verbal English for documentation and meetings

Nice to Have

• Experience with PHP
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automation tools like Jenkins, and Docker
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Willingness to share knowledge with peers
