For one of our clients, we are looking for a Software Engineer, remotely from France and the UK.

As a Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining a robust research platform that empowers data scientists and researchers to focus on advancing scientific discoveries. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services, particularly on AWS, with an emphasis on SageMaker and other machine learning tools. Collaborating closely with researchers and data scientists, you will ensure that the platform evolves to meet the dynamic needs of AI/ML research, federated learning, and large-scale data processing. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud computing, machine learning infrastructure, and software engineering, contributing to impactful advancements in the healthcare sector.

Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services on AWS, focusing on SageMaker and other machine learning tools.
• Contribute to the evolution of platform architecture to support emerging needs in AI/ML research, federated learning, and large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with researchers and data scientists to understand their requirements and develop solutions that enhance productivity.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and security practices.
• Participate in incident response and platform support to ensure high availability and reliability.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a software or cloud engineer, with a strong background in designing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructures.
• Full professional proficiency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
• Demonstrated attention to quality and software engineering processes, with a commitment to reliability.
• Experience with Python or Golang; proficiency in these languages is highly valued.
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS services; experience managing infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and OCI; experience with services and payloads running on Kubernetes across multiple clusters.
• Experience with MLOps practices and platform engineering is preferred.
