Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on engineering tools
• Experience with numeric computation and scientific computing for design, analysis or optimization
• Experience in Windows desktop app development and client-server apps
• Familiar with Linux shell scripting and relational databases (SQL)
• Understanding of SDLC, CI, Agile methodologies and testing practices

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing tools, meeting evolving needs of engineering communities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to engineering data
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, reliability and usability of software components
• Implement robust, scalable and efficient software components
• Write clean, well-documented code, in line with standard software development practices
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure software reliability and compliance to Nuclear Safety requirements
