As a member of the EMAG Circuits & Systems team, you boost our circuit simulation capabilities. Within our electromagnetic simulation tool chain, circuit simulation is an integral part in many different workflows. You are responsible for developing and maintaining the core engine as well as for its integration into the various solve scenarios. You are in exchange with Sales & Support, finding the best solutions that serve our customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance our circuit simulator engine that comes with different circuit solver types : Operation point, Transient, AC, S-Parameter and Harmonic balance.
• Extend the integration into our different modules, like schematic editor and electromagnetic 3D HF field simulators.
• Develop the circuit model library. The available models range from analytic or semi-analytic descriptions, measured / calculated data to SPICE based macro models.
• Act as focal point for all questions concerning SPICE language, SPICE / circuit modeling circuit simulation and network analysis.
• Collaborate closely with the dedicated EMAG Electronic Design Automation and Printed Circuit Board and MathCore teams

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent with strong focus on software development
• Profound background and experience in circuit simulation and SPICE modeling
• Passion for writing efficient, clean and modular code in C++
• Familiar with tools such as version control systems, bug trackers
• Follow established workflows such as agile development processes
