What youll do

As a Software Engineer Intern (Post-Quantum Cryptography) you will work closely with our engineering team in France at Issy-Les-Moulineaux. Your primary focus will be supporting the Post-Quantum Digital Signature project. You will assist in research development testing and documentation related to implementing quantum-resistant signatures. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cryptography and contribute to a real-world project with significant industry impact. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and learn about the software development lifecycle in a dynamic Agile environment. This position has no management responsibilities.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager Software Engineering and is a 6 months internship

Responsibility :

Assist in researching post-quantum cryptography algorithms and their application to digital signatures

Support the development and testing of software components for the Post-Quantum Digital Signature project

Contribute to the creation of test cases and documentation

Participate in team meetings and code reviews

Learn and apply best practices for software development and security

Work with Product Management Designer UX Research and other developers to understand and convert marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development

Stay updated with the latest development trends and share your findings with the team

Job Designation

Hybrid : Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency : Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic :

• Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Information Systems Informatics or equivalent
• Interest in cryptography and security
• Fluency in English
• Basic understanding of software development concepts
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. .NET / C# JavaScript)

Preferred :

Strong organizational problem-solving skills and can-do attitude

Great oral / written communication skills

Interest in learning about cloud services and distributed systems

Passion for learning new software technologies and for sharing knowledge

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations :

California : $X / hour - $X / hour or $X - $X base salary

Illinois and Colorado : $X / hour - $X / hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area) : $X / hour - $X / hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington DC : $X / hour - $X / hour or $X - $X base salary

This role is also eligible for the following :

Bonus : Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.

Stock : This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
