Job summary

Mirakl invites you to join its Ads team in a six-month internship based in Paris or Bordeaux. You will be part of a cross-functional squad including a Senior Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, Software Engineers, and a QA Engineer.

You will contribute to developing and enhancing an AI agent that autonomously generates and executes test scenarios, covering feature validation, regression testing, and exploratory testing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in software engineering or CS and seeking a 6-month internship.
• Hands-on development experience from internship, academic project, apprenticeship, or personal work.
• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• Experience with LLMs or agent development and software quality practices.
• Strong team player with a passion for knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the AI agent that generates and executes test scenarios.
• Help design, write, and run test cases to evaluate the agent's performance.
• Explore technical approaches and benchmark results.
• Work under guidance of experienced engineers and QA teammates.
• Contribute to the project using existing programming skills.

The Team You'll Join

You will join one of the Mirakl Labs Ads teams for a six-month internship starting in January or February 2027, based in Paris or Bordeaux. You'll be part of a cross-functional squad made up of a Senior Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, Software Engineers, and a QA Engineer.

Your Impact

Contribute to the development and enhancement of an AI agent that autonomously generates and executes test scenarios, covering new feature validation, regression testing, and exploratory testing. Help design, write, and run test cases to evaluate the agent's performance. Explore different technical approaches and contribute to benchmarking their results. Work under the guidance of experienced engineers and QA team members. Contribute to the project using existing programming skills.

What You'll Bring to the Role

• Currently pursuing a degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field (engineering school, university, or career change), and looking for a 6-month internship.
• First hands‑on development experience through an internship, academic project, apprenticeship, or personal project.
• Good understanding of a programming language.
• Proficient in working with LLMs and developing skills and/or agents.
• Appreciation for software quality best practices: testing, clean code, design patterns.
• Strong team player with a genuine enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and problem-solving.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

Pay Range: €1,200 – €1,400 per month.
