As our Software Engineer Intern, you’ll support HID’s success by:
  • Developing software in C or C#: Work on software development projects using C or C# on both Windows and Linux platforms
  • Creating demos and proof of concepts: Develop and present demos and proof of concept projects to showcase new features or technologies
  • Automating testing: Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability
Your Experience and Background include:
  • 3rd year of technical studies, preferably in Applied Computer Science
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, for at least 14 weeks
  • Familiarity with C: Some experience with C programming, especially for embedded systems
  • Basic knowledge of C#: Understanding of C# for desktop application development
  • Understanding of REST APIs: Familiarity with consuming RESTful web services
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to approach and solve technical problems effectively
  • Eagerness to learn: Willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed
  • Team collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members
