What you'll do

As an Intern Software Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering team in France at Issy-Les-Moulineaux. Your primary focus will be supporting the Post-Quantum Digital Signature project. You will assist in research, development, testing, and documentation related to implementing quantum-resistant signatures. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cryptography and contribute to a real-world project with significant industry impact. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and learn about the software development lifecycle in a dynamic Agile environment. This position has no management responsibilities.

This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Responsibility:

Assist in researching post-quantum cryptography algorithms and their application to digital signatures

Support the development and testing of software components for the Post-Quantum Digital Signature project

Contribute to the creation of test cases and documentation

Participate in team meetings and code reviews

Learn and apply best practices for software development and security

Work with Product Management, Designer, UX Research and other developers to understand and convert marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development

Stay updated with the latest development trends and share your findings with the team

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent
  • Interest in cryptography and security
  • Fluency in English
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts
