Why we need you Our growth is driving us to strengthen the Billing & Payments team to support technical evolution and ensure a seamless, reliable billing experience for customers. Your mission will be to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions while challenging existing functional specifications to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance across billing systems.

Your future team We work in a collaborative and international environment. You will be part of a team of 10 people, working on technical and functional projects according to the roadmap and priorities of the Billing & Payments department. The team’s work is connected to Scaleway’s data flows, requiring strong optimization, high reliability, and a focus on technical excellence. Manager: Joachim Audouard, Engineering Manager with a background in physics and leadership across SaaS and data teams.

Your daily routine

• Design technical solutions and challenge functional specifications
• Write clean, maintainable Python code following best practices
• Participate in architecture discussions and evolve stacks (code, observability, deployment)
• Regularly engage in pair programming and code reviews
• Ensure system performance and optimization in high-volume PostgreSQL environments
• Integrate metrics and monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana
• Develop and maintain APIs in gRPC (protobuf)
• Contribute to reducing technical debt while delivering new features
