Meet the Team

Cisco Cyber Vision is a cybersecurity solution from the Industrial IoT business at Cisco, designed for organizations in the power and water, oil and gas, manufacturing, and public transport sectors. It aims to ensure the continuity, resilience, and security of industrial operations by providing asset owners full visibility of their networks, enabling process integrity, secure infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and security policy enforcement through seamless integration and easy deployment within industrial networks.

By joining our team, you will perform exciting tasks such as developing new features, optimizing code, or adapting architecture to position the product into new markets and environments.

Your Impact

• Participate in the development of Cyber Vision components using the Go language. (If you haven’t worked in Go, deep knowledge of C, C++, and/or Python will help you get started quickly.)
• Work closely with senior developers and team members to contribute to project goals.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, seek feedback, and improve skills through mentorship.
• Communicate effectively with the team, document work clearly, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Backend-oriented programming language experience
• SQL knowledge
• Basic understanding of networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Golang experience
• GNU/Linux operating system familiarity
• PostgreSQL knowledge
• Frontend development experience, particularly with React, is a plus
• Eagerness to learn — cybersecurity offers continuous new challenges
• Problem-solving skills — enjoy troubleshooting deep within complex stacks
• English proficiency — essential for our global teams
