Description du poste

As a Lead Software Engineer, you are expected to understand the manufacturing industry’s business requirements and translate user needs into functional specifications. Knowledge of DELMIA solutions for manufacturing engineering would be a key added value. You will work in the R&D development team, collaborating with other teams (development, quality assessment, definition) across different locations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Work in the R&D development team, coordinating with other teams (development, quality assessment, definition) in different locations.
  • Define & design 3D manufacturing software, describing specifications in technical terms such as model diagrams & algorithms. Plan user interfaces and manage dependencies with other components.
  • Manage development teams to ensure proper development, testing, and delivery of functions; monitor R&D KPIs like incident reports and automated tests.
  • Track progress of dependencies and ensure knowledge sharing among relevant teams.
  • Work towards development convergence by addressing incident reports (bugs), prioritizing and implementing necessary corrections to improve code quality up to the last build of a release.
  • Regularly analyze code to identify areas for improvement in quality and performance.
  • Provide maintenance : resolve external incident reports (bugs) related to previous releases reported by technical support or QA teams.
  • Stay informed about technological developments, understand the requirements of CAA partners, and monitor competing products for future enhancements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Education in Computer Science or Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD / CAM / PDM software.
  • Knowledge of software cloud architecture.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, and Design Patterns.
