OVRSEA is a next-generation multimodal freight forwarder dedicated to simplifying and optimizing international freight management through technology. We coordinate shipments for over 700 companies across 60 countries offering clients a unique platform that enables teams to manage shipments easily and transparently. The Tech team

The tech team is at the forefront of developing two pivotal products :

Atlas : a groundbreaking Transport Management System designed exclusively for internal use revolutionizing how we organize shipments across the globe and streamline various tasks. Being an internal tool it offers us the flexibility to rapidly iterate allowing for extensive testing and immediate visibility of our works impact. This agile framework not only accelerates our operational efficiency but also enhances our ability to respond to shipping demands with precision and speed.

OneChain : a new Transport Management System for our customers. Most companies manage their shipments using Excel and paperwork causing mental load and time loss that can be optimized with this SaaS. The market is vast and the project has already secured several clients within a few months.

Our teams organization consists of two specialized squads each comprising 3 to 4 skilled Software Engineers and a dedicated Product Manager. These squads are each aligned with a distinct business objective such as task automation sales activation and the development of OneChain among others.

Our Software Engineering approach is deeply influenced by the methodologies outlined in Accelerate. We implement a robust and efficient workflow enabling more than 20 daily deployments for instance. This strategy significantly shortens our feedback loop. Moreover were working very closely with our end-users both operations teams and clients leading to tangible and impactful outcomes.

Are you The One

Must have :

• You graduated from an engineering school.
• We welcome both junior and senior candidates : you may be a recent graduate with a strong foundation in Computer Science or have a few years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Solid knowledge of our tech stack or a strong desire to learn it (TypeScript React Node).
• Skilled at teaching you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. You are supportive and committed to helping others grow.
• Humble and adaptable you are quick to learn in a fast-evolving tech landscape and to understand the unique aspects of the transport industry.
• Detail-oriented and diligent with high standards you are motivated by impact and results.

Nice to have :

• Familiarity with development frameworks (e.g. Agile Kanban).
• Understanding of software design principles (e.g. Inversion of Control hexagonal architecture).
