Software Engineer

Corin is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and test the next generation of our Apollo Hip and Knee Application Software, ensuring compliance with global medical device quality and regulatory standards. The role is based in Grenoble, France, and involves collaboration within a global R&D team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and integrate software systems for preoperative planning, intra-operative guidance, and postoperative follow-up throughout the software lifecycle.
2. Create prototype applications supporting technological innovation for next-generation products through data-driven methods.
3. Contribute to product technical files, including requirements, design outputs, verification and validation plans, and risk assessments.
4. Maintain high code quality via automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
5. Participate in agile practices such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, hardware engineering, and contractors worldwide, to ensure quality product delivery.
7. Support software QA, verification, and validation activities.
8. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, 21 CFR 820) through proper procedures and documentation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of programming experience with C++ and Python.
• Experience with software unit and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with version control and bug-tracking tools.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with pride in work quality.
• Previous experience in medical devices or healthcare environments.
• Experience with image processing, geometry processing, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of data analysis and modeling methods, including statistical methods and reinforcement learning.
