About the Team

We are looking for a QA Software Engineer to focus on ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our payments platform. You will design and execute test strategies, automate tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets customer and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, primarily for back-end systems
• Collaborate with Product Management, Software Development, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure a fast-paced, iterative delivery process
• Develop and execute test plans covering functional, performance, and security testing
• Create and manage comprehensive test cases, utilizing tools and frameworks for API and UI automation
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments
• Identify, document, and track issues and defects, providing feedback to the engineering team
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of back-end services and APIs

What you’ll bring

• Experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks, focusing on backend testing
• Proficiency with Go language
• Experience testing modern APIs, including functional, integration, and security testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into build processes
• Understanding of software testing methodologies like TDD and BDD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with cloud technologies

Exposure to DevOps tools such as GitLab, Kubernetes (K8s), and AWS services (EC2, S3, EKS, RDS)

• Nice to have: experience with banking and payment systems (SEPA, Swift)
