What You'll Do:

Join the Platform Core group, which consists of six agile teams providing the core platform and systems for Criteo products. Responsibilities include:

• Providing relational database management system (RDBMS) services.
• Offering platform services for caching systems and NoSQL technologies.
• Managing Criteo configuration systems such as Config-as-Code and ScopeConfig.
• Building and operating scalable, resilient ingest and egress services for HDFS.
• Developing abstractions for analytic data stores and operating u-Slicer reporting tool.

How You'll Make An Impact:

You will design, build, and operate foundational systems that support critical applications at massive scale, impacting the company's technological landscape.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and evolve infrastructure and database systems for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure system reliability and support developers with automation and best practices.
• Lead system migrations to private cloud, automate tasks, and explore modern solutions.
• Own incident management, troubleshoot issues, and improve systems proactively.
• Contribute to the technical vision and deliver impactful solutions across services and applications.

Who You Are:

• Master's or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in back-end roles with strong skills in Python or Go; C# or Java is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases like MSSQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL; familiarity with distributed databases is beneficial.
• Understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native tech, especially Kubernetes.
• Passionate about automation, observability, and reliability.
• Excellent communicator, proactive, and collaborative problem-solver.
