IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate technical documents that express sound software-engineering decisions. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. The hourly rate is $105–$210 USD, and the scope is defined before work starts.

Qualifications

• At least three years in software engineering, technical leadership, management or architecture, with a record of substantive technical writing or review.
• Relevant artifacts include RFCs, design specifications, architecture decisions, proposals, postmortems, technical articles and code reviews.
• Advanced study or strong academic credentials are valued; coding assistants and automated documentation tools are useful but optional.

Responsabilités

• Review and refine architecture documents, RFCs, specifications, proposals, postmortems or other engineering artifacts.
• Develop prompts that require substantive technical reasoning, then evaluate the generated content against clear criteria.
• Research and fact-check important claims, explain weaknesses precisely and provide structured feedback on correctness, clarity and completeness.
