You will be part of the Global Sustainability team at Opella, reporting to the Head of Sustainability – Social impact and Brand Activation. Our objective is to deliver our ambitious sustainability strategy founded on 2 pillars: Healthier Society, Healthier Planet.
The Global Sustainability team is led by a CSO (Chief Sustainability Officer) who sits at the ExCo.
The Global Sustainability team is looking for an experienced Social Impact Lead whose main responsibilities will be to provide deeply informed subject matter expertise in a fast-paced self-care environment to drive Opella’s social impact strategy. More specifically, the Social impact lead will:
We believe that professionals with the following experience and skillsets are well-suited for this position:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Impact, Sustainability). Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in social impact & partnerships, preferably within the private sector, including knowledge of social impact framework and methodologies.
Deep knowledge of social impact and ideally in the environment of healthcare, and experience of rolling out and accelerating social impact strategies.
Demonstrated success in developing and leading social impact programs and initiatives.
International experience and outlook, preferably experience from working in multiple countries.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience working with international teams. Proven ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
A hands-on, can-do attitude combined with an ability to work strategically and seize opportunities. Ability to work at pace and deliver key milestones.
Ability to see the big picture. Business growth mindset. A visionary and a builder, who knows how to turn ideas into reality. An open mind, with an ability to pivot and flex as needed.
Professional proficiency in English, both in understanding, speaking and writing. Additional languages is a plus.
