New Tales is seeking a Social Content & Communications Intern to craft engaging content around our games and engage with players across social channels. You’ll report to the Social & Community Manager and work with the Publishing team and partner studios on multiple games.

You will create social content, engage communities, monitor trends, and support PR and influencer initiatives in a hybrid, remote-friendly environment. Internship aligned with a 6-month tenure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Multimedia, Journalism, or a related field.
• Passion for video games, gaming communities, and online culture.
• Strong understanding of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Discord, and Steam.
• Good instincts for what makes content work on social media.
• Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite.

New Tales is looking for a Social Content & Communications Intern (F/M) to help us create engaging content around our games and connect with players across social media and gaming communities.

The core of the role will be social media content creation and community engagement, with occasional opportunities to support broader communication initiatives including PR, influencer relations, campaign coordination, and editorial content.

You’ll report to the Social & Community Manager and Communications & Community Lead and work closely with the Publishing team and partner studios across multiple games.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create and publish social content Produce short-form videos, static visuals, reactive posts, memes, and other social-first assets tailored to each platform
• Engage with our communities Reply to comments, join conversations, interact with players and creators, and help keep our communities active and welcoming
• Track trends and performance Monitor gaming and internet culture, community feedback, and social performance to help identify relevant content opportunities and key learnings
• Support communication campaigns Occasionally assist with PR, influencer activities, campaign coordination, media and creator research, coverage tracking, and communication materials
• Collaborate across teams Work with Communications, Community, Brand, partner studios, agencies, and creators to keep content and messaging aligned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Multimedia, Journalism, or a related field
• A genuine passion for video games, gaming communities, and online culture
• Strong understanding of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Discord, and Steam
• Good instincts for what makes content work on social media
• Comfortable with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• An interest in PR, media, influencers, and content creator ecosystems
