Job Description

Install, service, adjust, and repair coin-operated slot machines, currency changers, video arcade games, and currency and coin-handling equipment located in the shipboard Casino. The role also involves maintaining and repairing signage and computerized gym equipment.

Hiring Requirements

1. Formal training in the repair and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
2. Previous experience as a slot technician in live casinos is preferred, especially on ships.
3. Ability to read safety rules, instructions for the use and maintenance of tools and equipment, and mechanical drawings.
4. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests, showing concern and active listening.
5. Effective communication skills to resolve problems and negotiate with guests, department heads, and shipboard employees.
6. Ability to stand for extended periods.
7. Ability to count paper and coin currency quickly and accurately.
8. Basic math skills related to monetary units and calculating slot machine percentages.
9. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
