Exoscale is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement and operate Confidential Computing at the hypervisor level. You will own the evolving Exoscale platform, working on kernel to network stacks, OS images, and automation across a distributed EU team.

Ideal candidates bring Linux kernel expertise, familiarity with Confidential Computing (AMD SEV, Intel TDX), KVM, eBPF and container runtimes, plus Go and Python skills. Remote-friendly role with EU-wide opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux kernel and Systemd.
• Familiar with Confidential Computing concepts (AMD SEV, Intel TDX).
• Knowledge of Secure Boot, chain of trust, attestation, key management.
• Familiar with KVM virtualization.
• Good knowledge of eBPF and container runtimes.
• Proficient in Go and Python.
• Experience with configuration management and large-scale infra.
• Love automating tasks and documenting work.
• Curious, autonomous and values learning.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Design, development and implementation of Confidential Computing at the hypervisor level.
• Maintain operating systems and hypervisor fleets from kernels to network stacks.
• Support routing and security automation systems implementations.
• Shape OS images strategy from bare metal to virtual machines.
• Maintain and improve system container runtimes.
• Improve provisioning and deployment systems.
• Enhance bare metal and hypervisor systems performance.
• Contribute to overall design and architecture of platform systems.
• Contribute to internal tooling development.
• Participate in on-call rotation after training period.
