PLP Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and scale our cloud infrastructure. You will support wallet services, transaction processing, and blockchain integrations with a strong emphasis on security and reliability.

You will automate provisioning, monitor systems with Datadog, and collaborate across engineering, product, and security to meet real-world workloads while advancing architecture and deployment practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong AWS experience; GCP/IBM/Thales are pluses.
• Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation.

Join a team of engineers and cryptographers building the infrastructure behind the next generation of financial systems. We’re hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and scale the systems that power our platform. You’ll build and maintain the infrastructure that supports wallet services, transaction processing, and blockchain integrations. You’ll work at the intersection of distributed systems, security, and cloud infrastructure to ensure our platform remains reliable, secure, and performant. This role goes beyond operating infrastructure. You’ll help design resilient architectures, automate operations, and improve how we deploy, monitor, and secure our systems. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to deliver infrastructure that scales with real-world financial workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security.
• Architect and operate containerized and orchestrated systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automate provisioning and deployments using Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain observability with Datadog across logs, metrics, and traces.
• Optimize performance and reliability of Node.js applications and backend services.
• Configure and manage secure enclaves (AWS Nitro) to harden critical workflows.
• Partner with product and security to align infra decisions with roadmap and risk strategy.
• Document systems, promote knowledge sharing, and support client discussions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE experience in cloud-native systems.
• Strong expertise with AWS (GCP is a plus; IBM and Thales are a plus too).
• Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automations.
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized microservices.
• Experience administering and tuning SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with observability platforms (Datadog, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security and PKI fundamentals.
• Proficiency in scripting and systems programming (Python, Rust, TypeScript).
• Clear communication skills and ability to operate reasonably under pressure.
• Ideally, experience with blockchain networks, nodes, and smart contracts.
