Responsibilities
  • Project oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of retail shopfitting projects in the food industry.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise construction teams on site, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
  • Quality Control: Implement best practices and quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.
Requirements
  • Technical training (carpenter), technical training, certification as assembly manager
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction management, specifically in shopfitting or retail environments
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, best practices, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Fluent in French; proficiency in English or German required
  • Very good manual skills
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering, electrical, air conditioning, heating
  • Knowledge of fire protection, building services and safety coordination
  • High willingness to travel within France (60% - 70%)
