Description du poste

Company

Adoc Talent Management is recruiting for its client, a startup revolutionizing in silico drug discovery and target identification by building a digital twin of the cell. Combining AI, systems biology, and single-cell multi-omics, the deeptech venture aims to model cell behavior and identify optimal molecular targets to reverse disease states.

Their approach drastically improves the current drug discovery process—where only 1 in 10,000 targets reaches the market—by enabling large-scale, precise measurement of cellular activity. A key pillar of this vision is the development of the largest omics database, or omics atlas, mapping molecular cell states across tissues and diseases. This effort relies on robust data pipelines, which are central to the team’s success.

Backed by leading pharmaceutical partners and top academic labs, and following a successful funding round, the company is expanding its team.

Position

As a Single Cell Multi-Omics Bioinformatician with a DevOps mindset, you will help shape the data infrastructure that powers the company’s core platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable pipelines for processing large-scale single-cell multi-omics data (transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics).

You will work closely with AI researchers, systems biologists, and drug discovery scientists to ensure reliable and reproducible data workflows that fuel both internal R&D and external collaborations.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize pipelines using Snakemake or Nextflow
  • Maintain internal libraries and containerized environments (Docker, Singularity)
  • Conduct primary bioinformatics analyses (QC, alignment, clustering, differential expression…)
  • Standardize data inputs for integration with deep learning models
  • Evaluate and integrate state-of-the-art single-cell/multi-omics tools
  • Create dashboards and support data interpretation

This position offers high autonomy, scientific challenge, and the opportunity to publish, mentor, and collaborate internationally. It is open to candidates based in Paris, elsewhere in France, or internationally (remote-friendly).

Requirements

  • PhD or MSc in Bioinformatics, with specialization in single-cell multi-omics
  • Strong experience in DevOps for bioinformatics
  • Excellent programming skills: Python, R, Dash, Bash/Shell
  • Familiarity with the full data lifecycle: extraction, processing, analysis, software engineering
  • Proficiency with Snakemake and/or Nextflow
  • Rigorous coding practices (documentation, versioning, reproducibility)
  • Experience with QC, alignment, and analysis tools for single-cell data is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit in a multidisciplinary, startup environment
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)

Application

Join a dynamic, international team (10+ nationalities, >80% PhDs) in a remote-first company shaping the future of digital biology. Your contributions will directly impact next-generation drug discovery and patient care.
