Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking a Simulation Software Development Engineer to join the Modeling & Simulation team. You will help design, develop and maintain real-time Development & Runtime Environments at the heart of our simulation products.

Key requirements include 3+ years in software engineering and experience with C/C++, Rust, Python, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript, plus tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins and Bash.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Experience in software development in languages such as C/C++ and/or Rust and/or Python and/or Java and/or Javascript/Typescript.
• Familiar with software development environment tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Bash, ...
• Able to take a step back and carry out quick analyses, for example to roughly estimate the workload for product developments or future new developments.
• Negotiation level of English.
• French is a strong asset.
• This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Simulation Software Development Engineer (f/m)

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Simulation Software Development Engineer (f/m) to join our Modeling & Simulation department. The role is based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team that develops real-time simulation products for aircraft systems. Within the Simulation Frameworks team, you will be involved in the design, the development and the maintenance in operational conditions of Development & Runtime Environments which are at the heart of our Simulation Products, aiming to offer simulation solutions adapted to the needs of different users (system designers, operators of ground test facilities, manufacturers of simulators for pilot training).
