Description du poste

We are looking for a shop launch manager for our Charleville site.

The main missions are to prepare and follow the launch of the parts manufactured at the site until transmission to the life-series teams.

Coordinate activities for the launch of new products into production, while ensuring product and process compatibility with quality objectives, costs, and deadlines assigned to the project and production site.

Responsible for the preparation and conduct of operations to launch a new product or product modification for the manufacturing unit, using SPW principles and methodologies across all areas.

Responsible for delivering the program on time and within budget. Coordinates launch actors and contributors for production, maintenance, quality, and engineering activities. Represents the manufacturing unit towards the Project plateau teams.

Activities include:

  • Intervening across the entire business scope: product design, industrial resources consultation, job creation, staff engagement, organization of production, training, and men management through SPW deployment.
  • Integrating the evolution of the industrial master plan with project objectives.
  • Ensuring that product, process, ergonomics, and workstation retex are considered.
  • Validating co-design of the product, ensuring it meets cost, quality, and time objectives.
  • Handling escalation of product/process anomalies throughout the project.
  • Organizing online production and training for Life series manufacturing teams.
  • Following product production from pre-series to ramp-up, ensuring a return to nominal production.
  • Planning and leading skill transfer, and transmitting product specifications to the series Life Teams.
Profile

Responsibilities and work relations include:

  • Ensuring project objectives are met within scope.
  • Aligning project goals with the site's capabilities.
  • Facilitating the transition from project to series production.
  • Working closely with MCE, shop managers, production teams, external service providers, and counterparts in other trades.
  • Depending on project size, directly supervising product process specialists.

Qualifications:

  • Bac+4/5 level of education or experience.
  • Good technical knowledge of the entire unit.
  • Previous experience as a shift manager preferred.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written), capable of facilitating meetings.
