Description

Responsible for supporting the General Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the profitability of one RaceTrac store during designated shifts. While leading the shift, you will deliver on RaceTrac’s mission of making lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food quality, cleanliness, talent development, and driving success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide courteous, frictionless, and elevated experiences for guests.
  2. Foster positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests.
  3. Communicate respectfully and maintain a consistent team-oriented attitude.
  4. Efficiently complete guest transactions at the cash register or self-checkout stations and suggest products that complement purchases.
  5. Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, involving regional team members as needed.
  6. Adhere to all RaceTrac, federal, state, and local safety and food safety regulations.
  7. Ensure all food offerings are available and the store is clean and fully stocked.
  8. Maintain store presentation standards and represent the RaceTrac brand effectively.
  9. Clean food preparation areas and equipment according to RaceTrac standards.
  10. Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values: Honesty, Efficiency, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork.
  11. Lead with a servant-leader mentality, prioritize tasks, go the extra mile for guests and team, listen actively, communicate respectfully, and proactively solve problems.
  12. Coach, train, and assess direct reports, adhering to operational standards.
  13. Provide feedback on employee performance and development to the General Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed.
  2. 2-3 years of work experience preferred.
  3. 1+ years of management experience preferred.
  4. Experience in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environments preferred.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Ability to take initiative.
  7. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and reach repeatedly with minimal breaks.
  8. May need to obtain and maintain a food handler permit, depending on local regulations.
  9. May need to obtain and maintain an alcohol server permit, depending on local regulations.
