CROWN Bevcan France SAS is seeking a skilled Shift Manager to oversee daily production operations and lead a team of production employees during the assigned shift. The role focuses on achieving targets for output, quality, and efficiency while maintaining a safe working environment.

You will coach and develop operators, coordinate with maintenance, QA, and logistics, drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and prepare accurate production reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a supervisory/management role in manufacturing or production.
• Proven leadership to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

Job Summary:

CROWN Bevcan France SAS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a team of production employees during their assigned shift. This role ensures efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring targets are met regarding output, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production operators, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Monitor production processes, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime and waste.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality assurance, logistics) to ensure smooth production flow and resolve operational challenges.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, including output, scrap rates, and attendance records.
• Train new employees on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
• Handle minor disciplinary issues and escalating more serious concerns to higher management.

Job Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the packaging industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent understanding of production processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
