Services Footprint Tenders & Projects Eng / Mgr (H/F)

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Defines maintenance requirements (functional specifications) for depot (levels 1 to 3) and auxiliary workshops (levels 4 & 5 maintenance).
  2. Coordinates and finalizes maintenance strategy for tenders.
  3. Defines the list of depot equipment and tools to cover the maintenance scope targeted.
  4. Calculates the required depot size (number of tracks by activity type, main workstations, auxiliary workshops).
  5. Coordinates Construction Engineering teams to finalize tenders and secure deliverables.
  6. Evaluates depot capacity in relation to fleet and operational service requirements.
  7. Ensures depot and rolling stock are compatible with each other and the maintenance regime.
  8. Defines and manages technical interfaces between RS & depot.
  9. Assesses conditions of existing depot facilities for retrofit, identifying gaps vs. requirements.
  10. Consolidates and validates costings for infrastructure, buildings, equipment, and tools.
  11. Supports Alstom customers with depot-related issues.
  12. Supports footprint project mobilization and ramp-up (construction work packages).
  13. Oversees and follows up on footprint projects through regular Steering Committees and reporting, providing support when needed.

Educational requirements:

  • Engineering degree, preferably in civil, industrial, mechanical, or electrical fields.
  • Financial and/or bid management training or qualification is a plus.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Railway Operations business.
  • Minimum overall 7 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in design, operations, or maintenance of railway sites (buildings, infrastructure, workshops equipment).
  • Knowledge of main depot specifications.
  • Experience with RS maintenance and/or knowledge of rolling stock is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; social proficiency in French; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Office suite.
  • Autonomous, agile, organized, good communication and networking skills, innovative, and proactive.
