The TSI-TSR (Technology Services & Innovation – Travel Shopping & Reservation) division plays a pivotal role in Amadeus’ travel technology ecosystem. It is responsible for delivering and evolving the platforms and services that power the core travel shopping and reservation capabilities used by airlines, travel agencies, and other partners, for different travel content types, such as air, land and sea. .
DRI (Departure Control System - Reservation Interactions) team is in charge of the interactions between the Departure Control systems (managing key airport operations related to passenger check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and aircraft load control) and Reservation systems (handling critical steps of a trip reservation, including booking, ticketing, PNR management, etc.). This includes all the flows triggered during the DCS window, at the airport and for selling extra services like additional baggages or seats.
The exposure of the Team to both DCS and REServation is a great opportunity to learn a lot about Amadeus solutions.
Our customers are airlines and ground handling companies who use Amadeus' Altéa DCS, and/or Amadeus' Altéa RES.
The team is organized in agile/SAFe and is moving towards DevSecFinOps.
Common accountabilities
Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.
Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.
Specific accountabilities
Manage application operations for Amadeus Core Services end to end.
Manage the full application stack (OS, Data Bases and Data Stores, application, Links, vNW and the corresponding support functions according to the agreed service levels (internal & external) Service Automation.
Change and Release Management: Manage and execute change, release and test processes and drive automation of these processes
Problem & Incident Management.
Capitalizes on functional and technical knowledge to lead the activity and perform at the highest level.
