Une entreprise technologique recherche un développeur backend pour rejoindre l'équipe de la base de données sans serveur. Le candidat sera responsable de diriger l'équipe, de mentoriser les membres, et de contribuer à l'architecture du produit SQL intégré dans l'écosystème de l'entreprise. Une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais et des compétences en DevOps sont nécessaires.

Qualifications

• Excellente expérience en développement backend.
• Capacité à identifier le bon design / pattern de codage.
• Commandes d'anglais très bonnes (le français est un plus).
• Bonne connaissance de l'administration système et des réseaux.
• Contribuer à l'architecture produit et à la base de code.

Responsabilités

• Diriger l'équipe pour garantir un produit de haute qualité.
• Mentorer les coéquipiers pour améliorer leurs compétences.
• Gérer le backlog produit avec le Manager Technique.
• Concevoir la stack technique et définir les normes de qualité.

About the job The Serverless Database team is building a pay-per-use SQL Database product integrated into Scaleway’s ecosystem.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of leading your teammates to achieve a high-quality, high-impact, product.You will be responsible for mentoring your teammates to develop, operate, and optimize the product.You will also play a key part in designing the technical stack design and managing the product backlog.

Profil recherché

• Excellent experience in backend development
• Ability to identify the right design / coding pattern for a given problem
• Good soft skills and mindset
• Quick learner
• Very good command of English (French is a big plus)
• Experience with typical DevOps tooling : Git, CI / CD, containers, etc.
• Knowledge of open-source relational databases : PostgreSQL, MySQL, …
• Fluent with team tools : GitHub / GitLab, Jira, Slack, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of microservices and cloud patterns (K8s is a plus)
• Familiarity with quality enhancers : unit / end-to-end testing and documentation
• Good sysadmin and network knowledge
• Contribute to the product architecture and code base
• Define the right quality standards for each step of a product’s life cycle
• Mentor your teammates to help them improve their skills
• Partner with the Engineering Manager to translate product needs into a backlog
