We are an online marketplace connecting homeowners with tradespeople for home improvement projects. Our team of 520 professionals operates across Germany (Berlin), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), the UK (London), France (Aix-en-Provence), and Canada (Toronto). Our mission is to build a reliable and fair marketplace where tradespeople find quality work and homeowners hire trusted tradespeople.

We aim to grow and strengthen our market position. We are seeking an SEO Specialist - German speaking to contribute to our SEO and content strategy, identify SEO opportunities, and create SEO-friendly content. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and hands-on, working within a team of 6 SEO Specialists under the guidance of the SEO Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with other SEO Specialists across markets to enhance organic performance
2. Identify SEO gaps and opportunities using data and insights, translating them into strategies
3. Monitor SEO and business metrics, analyzing fluctuations over time
4. Coordinate with Product teams to ensure correct implementation and alignment with SEO goals
5. Manage external content partners: briefings, coordination, and review of published content
6. Edit and publish editorial content, maintaining quality, brand, and SEO standards
7. Conduct ongoing site audits to ensure technical optimization
8. Research and analyze competitor strategies to inform initiatives

Qualifications:

• Native German speaker with full professional proficiency in English
• Minimum 2 years of in-house SEO experience
• Proven track record of implementing data-driven SEO strategies that improve organic search performance
• Experience in developing partner relationships
• Familiarity with AI/ChatGPT for content creation and SEO integration
• Strong analytical skills using tools like SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Majestic, Google Search Console, Looker Studio
• Up-to-date with latest SEO trends and best practices
