A leading company in renewable energy is seeking a Senior Wind Turbine Generator Engineer in Paris. This role involves leading assessments, technical documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders on wind energy projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in wind turbine engineering and a degree in a relevant field.

Join us in accelerating the energy transition! We're looking for a passionate Senior Wind Turbine Generator Engineer to play a key technical role across major wind energy projects in Europe and beyond.

Location : Paris, France (Remote work possible)

Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent

Sector : Renewable Energy – Wind Turbines

Your Responsibilities :

• Lead technical assessment and selection of wind turbine generators (WTGs) for onshore and offshore projects.
• Collaborate with OEMs and project stakeholders to ensure optimal turbine configurations and compatibility with each site.
• Perform detailed load assessments, performance analysis, and power curve validations.
• Draft and review technical documentation including specifications (TS), supply agreements (TSA), and balance of plant (BoP) interfaces.
• Provide technical support throughout procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to due diligence and M&A evaluations with expert input.
• Propose and implement solutions for improving turbine performance and reducing operational risks.
• Stay updated with the latest industry innovations and integrate best practices into project execution.

Project Support & Documentation :

• Ensure documentation is kept up to date and aligned with industry standards.
• Support internal teams with technical guidance across project development and operations.

What We’re Looking For :

Education :

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience :

Minimum of 7 years of experience in wind turbine engineering, preferably across multiple phases of wind farm projects.

Skills :

• Strong understanding of WTG systems, aerodynamics, load simulations, and performance modeling.
• Experience with tools such as WindPro , WAsP , Bladed , or GH Bladed .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in English is required; French is a strong plus.
