Senior WEBFOCUS Expert Consultant (IBI) - Contract - Start ASAP - 12 months - France (Hybrid)

Next Ventures seeks an experienced WEBFOCUS expert consultant to service its client based in Nantes for a long-term engagement.

Job Description:

This role aims to support the ibi WebFOCUS infrastructure for the client.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide product expertise to the team to maintain the WebFOCUS environment, identify, and fix issues.
2. Provide product and database expertise around performance.
3. Help design new (or maintain current) applications and tools.
4. Manage communication with the Vendor product support team.
5. Assist in upgrading the environment to new releases.
6. Help leverage new features or components of ibi WebFOCUS.
7. Build internal training materials and promote the solution.

Skills Required:

1. Good knowledge of FOCUS code.
2. Experience with Designer report and chart development, Designer pages, and portals.
3. Experience with APPSTUDIO HTML Resource Layout, HTML, JavaScript, and ideally some Java development skills.
4. WebFOCUS configuration skills such as load balancing, deferred processing, ReportCaster, security features (client security rules, server security, SSO with Kerberos), and knowledge of the WebFOCUS repository database.
5. WebFOCUS code development experience including APPSTUDIO, creating Designer visualizations, pages, and portals.
6. SQL and relational database performance, preferably with VERTICA (columnar database).
7. Experience with WebFOCUS Resource Analyzer and Metadata: Business Views.

The client has a large deployment with 15 environments, 22 WebFOCUS clients, and 50 WebFOCUS reporting servers.
