Job summary

Talents Business is assisting in the recruitment of a Senior Treasurer for an international group based in Monaco. The role involves managing daily FX exposures, cash forecasting, hedging, intercompany funding, and close collaboration with Finance and operational teams to drive the Treasury function forward.

The successful candidate will bring at least 5 years in Treasury, fluent English, strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to both strategic and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily FX exposures for the Group.
• Drive and improve cash and liquidity forecasts (short-, medium-, long-term).
• Consolidate and analyze exposures from forecasts and transactions.
• Oversee confirmations, settlements, documentation and hedging schedules.
• Monitor and optimize hedging programme; report FX exposure and hedge positions.
• Manage intercompany flows and funding; oversee bank relationships.
• Collaborate with Finance and international teams to validate exposures.
• Contribute to Treasury FP&A topics: budgets, forecasts, reports.
• Support Treasury Policy and cash-flow hedge accounting issues.
• Provide information for monthly closings and audits; ensure processes and controls.

We are supporting a leading international group in the recruitment of its future Treasury Manager, within its Treasury team based in Monaco.

In a demanding, growing international environment that leaves real room for initiative, you will be responsible in particular for:

• Managing the Group’s daily FX exposures;
• Driving and improving short-, medium- and long-term Group cash and liquidity forecasts;
• Consolidating and analysing exposures arising from forecasts and committed transactions;
• Handling operational follow-up of transactions: confirmations, settlements, documentation and hedging schedules;
• Monitoring positions and continuously optimising the hedging programme;
• Producing and analysing FX exposure reporting, hedge positions and risk indicators;
• Managing intercompany flows and funding: intra-group loans, settlements, cash transfers and position tracking;
• Managing relationships with banking partners on FX and Treasury matters;
• Working daily with Finance and international operational teams to identify, validate and anticipate their exposures;
• Contributing to Treasury FP&A topics, including budgets, forecasts, analyses and management reporting;
• Supporting teams in understanding and applying the Group’s Treasury Policy;
• Supporting Accounting teams on cash-flow hedge accounting, valuation and effectiveness testing issues;
• Providing the information required for monthly closings and audits;
• Ensuring compliance with and improving treasury processes, policies and internal control systems;
• More broadly, actively contributing to the structuring and continuous improvement of the Group Treasury function.

You would therefore not be joining the company simply to “run” an existing service.

Profile Sought

We are looking for a seasoned Treasury professional who can quickly establish credibility in an international environment.

Ideally, you have:

• A higher education degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or an equivalent field;
• At least 5 years of experience in Treasury, ideally within a structured group;
• Strong cash management skills, with the ability to interpret figures and work in a business-oriented way;
• Fluent professional English, essential in this international environment;
• The ability to work with both Finance stakeholders and business and operational teams;
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations;
• A strong hands-on mindset: comfortable with both strategic analysis and operational execution;
• Autonomy, curiosity and enough personality to challenge the status quo intelligently and propose new solutions.
