ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking a Software Test Engineer to develop and maintain test strategies, contribute to testing processes, and review specifications to define test acceptance criteria. The role involves performing and monitoring tests on a range of technical products and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Experience with automated testing tools is essential, along with strong knowledge of Unix OS, RDBMS, networking, and containers.

Qualifications

ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
Solid understanding of testing practices.
Experience with OS variants (Unix), RDBMS, networking, containers and virtualization.

Responsabilités

Develop, maintain and contribute to test strategies and planning;
Contribute to and apply test processes, procedures and documentation;
Contribute to and review technical specifications, requirements and develop test acceptance criteria and other test deliverables;
Perform, control and monitor testing activities on technical products;
Report problems or failures leading to suggestions to improve or perfect the technical products;
Report progress of testing activities to several stakeholders;
Use/develop test tools and perform test automation activities;
Interact with project teams and other stakeholders in the framework of the tests organization and other activities
