Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented Senior Technical Consultant to join our expanding post-sales team in EMEA. You will assist customers in leveraging the Workato platform from both business and technical perspectives, define best practices for integration and automation, and collaborate closely with customer stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to extending our product’s functionality and refine engagement strategies to ensure customer success.
Your responsibilities include:
- Participating in professional services engagements, developing and consulting on integrations and automations, including migrations from other platforms.
- Helping customers scale their automation practices, ensuring adherence to best practices, architecture, and governance.
- Acting as a Workato evangelist to demonstrate how the platform can meet various business automation needs.
- Becoming a trusted technical advisor on solution architecture and implementation.
- Growing our presence in France through community events and enabling local partners.
- Leading business requirements sessions.
- Designing customer integrations and automations.
- Conducting recipe reviews and testing best practices.
- Performing production readiness assessments and post-deployment health checks.
- Transferring knowledge to customer and partner teams.
- Applying frameworks like Workato’s GEARS to align solutions with customer needs.
- Understanding customer processes and advising on improvements via automation and orchestration.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
- 5+ years in technology transformation consulting, with experience in integration, middleware, or API management solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing resilient, high-volume end-to-end integrations.
- Deep understanding of security and governance for large enterprises.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, with flexibility based on circumstances.
Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and partnerships.
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and proactive attitude.
- Effective task prioritization and time management, even under pressure.
- Fast learner with research skills and ability to synthesize information quickly.
- Proactive problem solver, willing to take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Proficiency in Hebrew (advanced level) for client communication in Israel.
- Experience in digital transformation projects in enterprise consulting.
- BSc or Master’s in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of applications like Salesforce, SAP, Netsuite, Workday, ServiceNow, EBusiness Suite, and databases.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and programming languages (Ruby, ABAP, Java, Groovy, JS).
- Experience working in a global startup environment.
