Tata Consultancy Services seeks a senior PLM architect to lead end-to-end PLM architectures, manage enterprise integrations, and define scalable, secure technical roadmaps for complex industrial environments.

Based in France, you will collaborate with aerospace and manufacturing stakeholders, drive architecture governance, mentor junior architects, and guide deployment, migration, and modernization initiatives across multi-vendor environments.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in PLM architecture and enterprise integration.
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing domain preferred.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead technical architecture across the full lifecycle.

Technical / Functional Skills

• Strong expertise in PLM platforms (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, Windchill or equivalent)
• Proven experience in designing end‑to‑end PLM architectures and large‑scale implementations
• Deep knowledge of engineering processes, configuration management, and digital thread
• Strong experience in system integration (PLM MES, ERP, ALM, CAD authoring tools)
• Expertise in API‑based and event‑driven architecture patterns
• Knowledge of data models, BOM management, and product structures
• Exposure to cloud‑native architectures and deployment models
• Experience in performance optimization, scalability, and security of enterprise platforms
• Ability to define technical roadmaps and architecture blueprints
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/SAFe environments
• Experience in driving automation and AI‑driven solutions within engineering ecosystems
• Fluent in English and French

Experience Required

• Strong hands‑on experience in PLM solution architecture and integration
• Experience in leading technical design for large transformation programs
• Proven experience working with distributed and multi‑vendor environments
• Experience in aerospace or discrete manufacturing domain (highly preferred)
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Define and lead the technical architecture of PLM solutions across the full lifecycle
• Design end‑to‑end system integration architecture across PLM and adjacent systems
• Act as the technical authority for architecture decisions, standards, and best practices
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs
• Drive architecture governance, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
• Define and implement scalable, secure, and high‑performance architectures
• Lead technical design workshops and architecture reviews
• Ensure consistency and traceability of data across systems (Digital Thread)
• Support deployment, migration, and modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure implementation aligns with architecture
• Identify and drive innovation opportunities, including automation and AI integration
• Mentor and guide technical teams and junior architects
