Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a System and Software Architect to contribute to the Automotive System and Platform Architecture team. The role focuses on building expertise in architecture at system and software levels and engaging with OEMs to support sub-systems across processing, networking, power management, security and safety.

You will define architectures for CoreRide platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Experience in system and software architecture definition and development.
Knowledge of vehicle functions and software platforms from drivers to middleware.
Strong software architecture skills to define frameworks and components within the ECU/Vehicle system.
8+ years in the automotive market and engagement with Tier1/OEM.
Experience in hardware, software and system solutions for car architecture evolution.

Responsibilities

Use architecture systems and software engineering tools to understand architecture trade-offs and KPIs (power, performance, latency, security).
Hands-on prototyping to analyze partitioning and KPIs.
Collaborate with NXP engineering and Architecture Automotive teams on exploration, analysis and execution.
Define system and software architecture solutions for CoreRide platforms across central or zonal archetypes.
Deliver architecture specifications and support execution teams for fast convergence.
