Your role
Provide IT support, system design, and troubleshooting for large server and SAN infrastructures.
Configure and troubleshoot virtual environments including VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Horizon.
Manage server environments and operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows).
Design, implement, and administer backup and restore solutions (e.g., VEEAM, StoreOnce).
Administer physical servers, blade systems, and composable infrastructure.
Manage storage solutions using SAN, CEPH, and VSAN technologies.
Operate and support OCP platforms in DevOps mode with tools like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps, Ansible Automation Platform, and Kafka.
Develop and troubleshoot automation scripts (Ansible, PowerShell).
Administer PKI and certificates.
Manage monitoring systems such as Nagios and Splunk.
Maintain Oracle infrastructure including EXADATA and ZDRLA.
Administer mail servers, mail relays (postfix), antivirus, and anti-spam solutions.
Handle centralized deployment of software and updates.
Additional Responsabilities
Hardware racking, cabling, firmware upgrades, and component replacement.
Perform hardware/software inventory and configuration management.
Ensure software compliance monitoring and enforcement.
Support LDAP, Active Directory, and Keycloak identity management systems.
Manage network-attached storage and distributed file systems.
Enforce centralized IT security policies.
Provide support for database systems (basic knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle, and Elasticsearch).
Configure and enhance observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, Kibana, Jaeger).
Manage highly available environments and provide multi-site support.
Follow ITIL V3 processes including incident, change, capacity, and configuration management.
Who we think you are
A minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience in the field of system engineering and infrastructure management.
Advanced knowledge of VMware environments (vSphere, vSAN, Horizon).
Strong system administration skills in Red Hat and Windows environments.
Experience with Oracle hardware and infrastructure.
Expertise in automation and scripting (Ansible, PowerShell).
Deep understanding of storage technologies (SAN, CEPH, NAS).
Proficiency in monitoring systems and observability tools (Nagios, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Solid understanding of PKI, AD/LDAP, and mail systems administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
