Looking for a senior, passionate, and experienced backend engineer to work on the open-source developer platform Windmill: https://github.com/windmill-labs/windmill

We are open to less senior candidates, but a high degree of autonomy and initiative will be expected after a ramp-up period.

Our codebase is dense, with the frontend built entirely in Svelte. It features a drag-and-drop app editor similar to Retool, a workflow editor based on xyflow that combines low-code and full code editing, and a code editor with live feedback using Monaco + a custom websocket layer for LSP. We are a polished product that our users love, fitting both developer and enterprise requirements.

The UI challenges of developing a developer platform include making it a delightful and intuitive experience while maintaining the depth and features expected of a developer tool.

We have 100+ enterprise customers, comfortable revenue, tier 1 investors (Google, Bessemer), and high growth.

Our team consists of 10 engineers.

We are hiring for a hybrid work model (~3 days/week in the office) in Paris/France.

Bonus points if you can do some Rust as well.
