Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks a Senior Structures Stress Engineer to join the MAP wing structures team. You will perform stress analysis for metallic and composite airframes, support Final Assembly Line and flight test activities, and ensure airworthiness across A350/A330/A380 programs.

Requirements include static or F&DT methods, ISAMI and FEM expertise, and DOA stress delegations where possible; English proficiency is essential and French is a plus.

Qualifications

• : Experienced Stress Engineer (Static or F&DT)
• : Technical expertise in metallic and/or composite structural analysis using hand calculations and computerized tools
• : Experience on widebody aircraft programs
• : DOA Stress delegations granted or able to develop them
• : English negotiation level (spoken and written); French a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze the impact of non-conformances (NCs) on airworthiness and provide stress justifications
• Ensure compliance documents (NCs, concessions) align with FAL milestones
• Support airframe quality improvement by investigating NC root causes and corrective actions
• Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements
• Coordinate between manufacturing, quality, and design offices to facilitate stakeholder alignment
