We are working with an International Steel Trading Company looking to hire a Senior Steel Trader.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Take full ownership of commercial activities across international accounts, ensuring seamless execution of deals from start to finish, with onboarding support and ongoing collaboration from internal teams.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with key contacts across various regions, ensuring continued alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
• Handle end-to-end commercial agreements, including price structuring and logistical coordination to support consistent and timely fulfilment of client requirements.
• This role reports to Head of Trading.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a steel trading role, demonstrating strong capabilities in managing complex workflows, coordinating administrative tasks, and overseeing operational processes across global supply chains.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in both Dutch and English business environments; additional fluency in French or Spanish is highly valued.
• Holds a university degree in a relevant field such as international business, supply chain, logistics, or a related commercial discipline.
• This role is based in Belgium.
