You will...

1. Participate in various projects in the autonomous driving stack to reduce overall system runtime.
2. Apply different types of optimization skills to reduce key bottleneck function runtime. Deploy solutions to CPU/ GPU devices to meet the latency budget.
3. Work with world-class researchers to improve neural network, simulation, autonomy algorithm capabilities.
4. Be part of a team of multidisciplinary Engineers and Research Scientists using an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale.

Qualifications:

1. Educational background: BS or higher degree in EE/ CS or equivalent industry experience.
2. Solid programming background in Python and C++.
3. Extensive experience with runtime performance improvement projects in the past.
4. Ability to rapidly understand new fields.
5. Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
6. Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.

Have one or more of below points:

1. CUDA/ OpenCL/ Shader development background, familiar with GPU architecture.
2. Experience with code and data optimization, as well as multi-threaded programming.
3. Experience with simulation engine, tools, environment.
4. Familiar with CPU/ GPU rendering algorithms. Experience with rendering optimization projects.

The US yearly salary range for this role is: $141,000 - $242,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi (US) Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
