Description du poste

Location: France (remote)

Job Summary:
The user interface engineer is responsible for building world-class user interfaces that support connectivity, device, and data management, ranging from device sensors to end-user applications. The engineer will work within a multi-domain team (embedded software, connectivity intelligence, data pipelines, data modeling, REST API, UI design and implementation) focused on enhancing user-centered design and development for acclaimed features. They should have strong viewpoints on application and service quality, advocating for optimal user experiences while incorporating team feedback.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on designing user-oriented features.
  • Implement performant, secure, and well-tested end-user features.
  • Architect, implement, and maintain the UI stack and experience APIs.
  • Review user interaction flows, data models, architecture proposals, and implementations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in building web applications.
  • Proficiency with component-based libraries or frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
  • Strong programming fundamentals, including complexity, asynchronous, and functional programming.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and debugging.
  • Attention to quality and detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel to France sites once a quarter.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience creating or maintaining open-source libraries.
