Algolia is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Search team. You will contribute to the design and operation of the cloud-based NeuralSearch system, ensuring scalable, reliable indexing and fast query responses.

You’ll work with a mostly remote team, with options to be fully remote, hybrid, or office-based in Paris. Strong English, experience in distributed systems, large datasets and Kubernetes are essential; Go experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Experience working with large datasets and high traffic.
• Strong code quality, testing practices, and engineering discipline.

Responsabilités

• Design and operate the Search and Indexing systems.
• Own on-call responsibilities for the Search system.
• Collaborate with a fully remote team, with options for remote, hybrid or office-based in Paris.
• Ensure system quality and reliability, sharing expertise on distributed systems.
• Work with other teams to identify and resolve high-impact issues.
