Job summary

The Exploration Company is seeking a Thermal Analysis Engineer to contribute to Nyx, our modular and reusable space orbital vehicle.

You will develop thermal models and simulations to support design definition and validation, collaborating with mechanical, CAD, avionics and mechanism teams to optimize thermal architecture and performance.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in aerospace, 4+ years in thermal analysis, and fluency in English; CFD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in aerospace or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in thermal analysis.
• Strong knowledge of active and passive thermal management.
• Fluent in English; German, French or Italian are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate thermal models and simulations for spacecraft.
• Determine thermal load cases across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with subsystems to optimize the spacecraft thermal design.
• Support test planning and data correlation for validation.
• Create and improve thermal analysis tools.
• Prepare documentation and participate in design reviews.
