SpaceLocker in Paris is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a telecommunications background to support both commercial and operational teams on telecom-heavy missions.

You will work at the intersection of mission engineering, payload integration and platform capabilities, ensuring that communication systems meet mission objectives and exploring concepts such as distributed proliferated constellations. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with significant experience in systems engineering.
• Strong background in satellite communications, telecommunications or RF systems.
• Experience working on complex multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies, requirements management and verification.
• Experience interacting with institutional or commercial customers is appreciated.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead system-level trade-offs involving communications architectures and mission performance.
• Define and consolidate system requirements related to RF links, data handling and end-to-end communications.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between payload providers, platform partners and internal engineering teams.
• Support mission architecture activities from proposal through flight operations.
• Contribute to technical reviews, verification activities and customer interactions.
• Mentor junior systems engineers and help strengthen engineering practices across the team.
• Support future developments of SpaceLocker’s hosted payload infrastructure.
