As a Senior Solutions Engineer covering the SEMEA region, you will be a vital part of this mission, with the opportunity to significantly impact the Enterprise territory across various accounts and industries in the region.

You will leverage your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve complex data challenges. Working with a collaborative, customer-focused team that values innovation and creativity, you will create customized solutions to help customers achieve their goals and drive their businesses forward. The impact you will have :

• Build successful relationships with clients across your assigned territory to deliver technical and business value in collaboration with an Account Executive and Solutions Architect.
• Create excitement about Databricks through hands-on evaluations, Spark programming, and integration with the cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
• Contribute to the development of the Databricks technical community through engagement in workshops, seminars, and meetups.
• Serve as a Big Data Analytics advisor on architecture and design aspects.
• Support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
• Grow technically and in presales capabilities with the aim of becoming an independent Solutions Architect.

What we look for :

• Experience working with clients to craft narratives, answer questions, align agendas, and achieve tangible outcomes.
• Ability to independently deliver technical propositions, identify customer pain points, and explain business value to develop trusted advisor skills.
• Knowledge in core Big Data Analytics, with exposure to proofs-of-concept and understanding of major public cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Engineering, with experience in architecture and design.
• Coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with preferable experience in Apache Spark.

Mandatory requirements :

• Location in Paris (or within a commutable distance for hybrid work). Candidates in Milan will also be considered.
• Flexibility to travel up to 20-30% for customer meetings, events, and trainings.
• Proficiency in French and English; Italian language skills are a plus.
